Plot Summary: "Sophisticated and unique this comedy centers on novelist Hank Moody (David Duchovny) who struggles to raise his 13-year-old daughter while still carrying a torch for his ex-girlfriend. His obsession with truth-telling and self destructive behavior -- drinks drugs and relationships -- are both destroying and enriching to his career."  I cannot say enough good things about this Showtime series because I absolutely love it. If you're familiar with the movie "Skin Deep" starring John Ritter, this will feel familiar to you. David Duchovny won a Golden Globe for his role and I've enjoyed every episode of this series. I also like the cast of characters in this series. The first year is now available from Amazon and it's one of the best series on the Showtime premium network.. Of particular interest to us is Rachael Miner, who does a nice spanking scene and then follows that up with a scene from "Secretary" where she carries the office paper in her mouth to her boss on her hands and knees. Trust me, you want this DVD in your library.
