Plot Summary: "Homicide detective Catherine Palmer investigates a series of serial killings of women who have been tortured to death by S&M and all have had their eyelids cut off. The investigation takes Catherine into a group wealthy upper class women where she is drawn to the chief suspect Vickie Kittrie who has a penchant for S&M and women, as well as Dr. Broussard, the victims shady therapist with some dark secrets of his own."  Here is a movie that stars two beautiful women - Ellen Barkin (the detective) and Peta Wilson (the S/M chick) who are attracted to each other. In fact, Wilson try's to seduce Barkin and almost succeeds in a very sexy scene. However somewhere between a good book and a so-so script, this missed it's mark. Oh it is stylish and well lit and interesting but frankly I get tired of watching S&M as a vehicle for crazed killer. I mean I've been in BDSM forever and I've yet to see one murderer or sick motherfucker, so why do the movies always make us the heavy? Enough of my rant. On a scale of one to ten, I would rate this about a six which means it's definitely worth watching and if you don't mind our side looking sick and fucked up, or you're really into Barkin and Wilson, this is a good movie to have in your library.  If you can't get past all of that, then it's still worth a weekend rent. Either way you should see it.
