BDSM Movie Review

Plot Summary: "An aspiring writer is repeatedly gang-raped, humiliated, and left for dead by four men whom she systematically hunts down to seek revenge of them." This is a delicious movie and certainly one of my top 25 BDSM movie and our 1978 BDSM movie of the year. Camille Keaton (grand-daughter of Buster Keaton) was wonderfully cast in the title role of the damsel in distress. She is innocent looking and the director showed her naked body from every angle both being raped and in her revenge work. The four guys cast as heavies are stereotyped and not very good but it doesn't matter because they're only there to move the story along. The movie is Keaton and she pulls it off perfectly. She is very believable when she is raped repeatedly by the gang of four both in the woods and in her home. And when she doesn't die and finally recovers, her revenge is thoughtful and inspired. There are scenes in the movie that will disturb some people, but if the subject matter interests you, I cannot recommend this movie enough. Recently they released a Millennium Edition DVD which is complete at 100 minutes and it's been re-mastered. This movie is a classic damsel in distress which has put a bar so high that imitators have not even come close to equaling this effort. And BTW, Keaton married the director the next year. Obviously she trusted him to make her look good and he did a good job. Recently, Zarchi sold the rights to the script to allow it to be re-made. Why? this is perfect.
