"The General's Daughter"

Plot Summary: "Military police detectives investigate a horrifically bizarre rape and murder of a respected female Pysch-Ops officer who is also the daughter of a renowned retiring general. Yet the case becomes more complicated when the autopsy showed no evidence of sexual assault. Furthermore, that is but the beginning of the twists when they discover the victim's secret life, her past and a disturbing determination to keep this investigation short and quiet." This is a strange but enjoyable movie that has a lot of twists and turns before we discover the truth of why the general's daughter was murdered. In some ways, it's a classic "damsel in distress" movie with some BDSM overtones. This is the type of movie that'll lose impact when shown on regular television because the murder scene (naked, spread eagle and tied to the ground as shown below) will not be shown as in the movie. They also won't show the gang rape nudity either and both of these scenes are critical to the plot of the movie. John Travolta and Madeleine Stowe are the investigating team that must uncover the mystery behind the murder. To tell you more would ruin the movie, but this is a "damsel in distress" movie and it has some nudity although limited because of the subject matter. But a very good mystery movie available at a reasonable price from Amazon (see left).
