Lloyd A. Simandl was born in Poland and raised in Canada. He has been a movie director and producer since 1979 when he quite teaching college and made "Autumn Heat" starring Playmate Dorothy Stratton. He became famous in America by doing cable erotica films such as Dangerous Prey starring Shannon Whirry and Dark Confessions starring Kate Rogers. He always referred to his movies as "bound heat" and eventually he decided to make his own movies and he moved from Hollywood to the Czech Republic when he now makes Lesbian BDSM films and women in prison films. His distribution company out of Canada is "Bound Heat" which you'll see featured on this site. We designed a special section just for Lloyd's films because they are unique BDSM films and since they all have the same theme, it seemed appropriate to put them in a separate section. There probably isn't a lot of gender crossover on Lloyd's films since they are mostly male fantasy films. But because of the continuing themes of his movies - white female slavery, women in prison and lesbian erotica and punishment, these movies could not be made in the US today.
